The $5-million project consisted of a new vehicle maintenance facility, repair shops for equipment, wood shops, and distribution of supplies for all airport departments. In addition to meeting the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport’s needs the project also serves as a catastrophic emergency response center for the area.
