Nestled on the south side of the Georgia Southern Campus, linking Sweetheart Circle to the Math & Science Building the Herty Drive conversion transformed a busy road into a pedestrian friendly “park-like” pathway. The two acre street demolition and streetscape project defined the future of Georgia Southern University as it transformed itself from a commuter college to a pedestrian friendly University. The streetscape features full landscaping, stone and brick pavers as well as a new irrigation system and custom lighting.
