Named after Savannah’s second chairman of the Savannah Park & Tree Commission P.D. Daffin, Historic Daffin Park opened initially in 1927. Recently renovated by Dabbs Williams General Contractors, the project included renovation of the historic Grayson Stadium, home of Savannah’s minor league baseball team the Sand Gnats(which is affiliated with the New York Mets). The facility seats 5,000+ fans.
